The Obama family is getting closer to picking the first pooch. In an interview on ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday President-elect Barack Obama told host George Stephanopoulos that his family is deciding between a labradoodle (a cross between a Labrador retriever and a poodle) and a Portuguese water dog. The family says its ready to start visiting animal shelters to select the dog.
