I think the argument that we would “never see a picture of Biden” this way is untrue…we would simply not notice that it was shot that way. Is it sexist?…yeah, is it the photographers fault?…no.

Palin has pressed the point of her being a woman in this race far more than anyone. She has chosen that mantle and frankly it is why many women like myself are vehemently opposed to voting for her. All women do not represent all women.

In this day and age the final truth is, if a woman on the political circuit wants to be taken as a viable opponent and not “eye candy” she might want to leave the pageant heels at home. She has sexualized her appearance not the press. Her heels are high, her lipstick is bright, her hair is high and her skirts a little too tight.

I don’t know about the photo. But it’s a dumb question. Who cares if it’s fair? If they had taken a photo like this of Joe Biden, you wouldn’t see the boy’s face because Joe would have pants on (actually, Hillary probably would too), so I’m sure it would be too boring to plaster on websites. Second of all, that is not a taste of what McCain/Palin would bring to this country. Third, you are anything but an elitist, if only in your own mind. You were saying “elicit” for God’s sake!! And accusing me of being one when afterwards you say “i don’t mind being one!”

Lastly and MOST IMPORTANTLY, I am not supporting Palin because I think I am smarter than her. I don’t know if I am- I’m not going to try to win that battle with you because you’d say “Well if you’re dumber than her you’re pretty dumb” or call me an “elicit” if I said I was smarter. Palin has a proven track record of reform in Alaska, even if only for a short period of time. She has more tangible accomplishments than Obama does. I am willing to admit that she has some shortcomings, and that does scare me, but she’s running for VP. Obama has just as many shortcomings and he’s running for President.

So, to conclude all this “nonsence” from the last 3 days- arguing with you has been like spinning in a circle without ever accomplishing anything. You were able to twist everything I say into something totally different in your little brain and as much as it frustrated me I kept taking the bait. No matter how I hard I try, to you it will always come down to me being racist, ignorant, and an “elicit” all at the same time- which couldn’t be farther from the truth. You need a serious reality check and I hope you get it before November 4th.

let me tell you who those people who will run are, and i know quite a few of them as I see them in and out of the banks in the Swiss nation when i am there.
It is those people like McCain, Cheney and their lot, who get reach at the expense of child labor in poor countries, it is those people who use wars to benefit their weapon production companies and at the end of the day fool you with psycho-patriotism and a pat in the back, and when our sons go down in the line of duty while fighting a rich man’s war they make up a cover story to make you believe they went down like a heroes when in fact they were left alone and without the necessary weapons or protection. It is these sort of people the ones who stay at the top, who get rich at your expense, yet they keep their money outside America to avoid taxes and fines to their business. It is precisely these sort of people who have 13 houses, 13 cars, who buy expensive quality european clothes, food, wine, etc, while they lecture those middle class americans like you on patriotism. It is this sort of people who profited from the deregulations of McCain.

You know what i find most disturbing however, is that some of you republican christians who pray for me, don’t know anything about your God’s agenda. You find every reason to dislike and not help people. you criticize Obama for wanting to help the sick with affordable insurance, to help those with little to have an opportunity to get out of their 7dollar an hour jobs, to help the students stay in college instead of doing drugs or going to fight a rich man’s war. Maybe you should reevaluate your God’s teaching particularly the part about Christ.

I wish i could show you some of the reality I see. I really do because it saddens me when I see people like you who are cheated every day of your lives and yet you pray and love those who cheat you. It is like that old roman saying about one of their tyrant emperors : “He will bring the end to them, and they will love him for that”

I really wish I could. Because it breaks my heart to see good people being toyed and fooled, who only care about their families and children, who genuinely pray for a better life and bless everyone with their heart, who have no political reasons to lie or manipulate others by telling them what they want to hear.

You have created an image of Obama where you expect some magical deeds, while for McCain you choose to ignore the record that speaks against him being that the economy, the financial scandals, his own terrorist friends, his own racist and neo-nazi pastors, his own “say no to veterans’ record.

You consider McCain to be one of you when the man has never had to work a day of his life, and his military career was the necessary thing to do as his father and grandfather would not have allowed him to do anything else. While you consider Obama an outsider, why? because he was noone, and with hard work and determination he became someone. It is the oldest law of jealosy in the book. People always hate to see one of their class become part of the elite. They would rather see the power on the hands of those who have kept it for generations than see one of their own in control.

but why don’t you stick to praying for me, and let the affairs of the nation in the hands of those with a higher intellect. you are very passive, and your words are just as distracting from reality as you are yourself perhaps. McCain has done his work well to sell a distraction. Luckily for America only the republican base is fooled.

How can i be racist towards my own race? I am white and my family has no interracial blood at all for at least the past 900yrs that i can trace it to. But while you like to hide that fact that the only reason Obama is not 20 points clear is race, I at least acknowledge it. Maybe you should spend some money traveling the country and learn a lit bit in reality what America really stands for these days, instead of telling me about your pristine image of America. Believe it or not i too have that heavenly image of America, but I want that to be reality not a just an impossible dream, or a place that only exists in the abstract world of my mind, as you seem to like convincing yourself.

I think that Sarah needs our prayers. Sarah I feel so sorry for you. I am not just saying this. You hate everything and if the truth be known, you actually hate yourself. but i have to admit, it was my intention to let you have a little taste of what McCain and Palin are doing to the rest of the nation that don’t care about partizanship, and especially to the Obama supporters. It is easy to say “I understand things”. But you just experienced it, and as you say you hope to learn from it. I apologize if my intentions were not to your entertainment but I had my reasons to spend my time here. Now you know what it feels like.

Am I elitist? Sure you can say that. I have no problem with being elitist. There is nothing wrong with intelligence and it is because of the elitists that we are what we are. It is because of them that we an a United States of America, and not due to soldiers. Soldiers were needed to fight for the elitists’ideas.
furthermore, that’s the whole point of having schools and some of the best schools in the world come to that. But you are entitled to you opinion and if that is true than I know the reason why you would support a woman like Palin. It would make you feel smarter, knowing that you have a higher IQ than your leaders, so that you can actually in your mind have the luxury of criticizing them.
Sadly I would rather have leaders who know more than me, not cheerleaders with the brains of coconut. Nor a senior citizen war man who calls me his friend to win my admiration yet talks about nothing that matters to anyone else except him. So that’s where we differ, and gladly so.
